HOn30 (Runs on N-Gauge Track) Porter 0-4-0t Custom Built from Joe Works Kit. It's difficult to describe this model without using the word "Cute". This teeny-weeny (less than 2-inches long) HO scale narrow gauge switcher is a delight to look at and to run. Yes!! It runs great...might even pull an ore car or two (no gaurantees!). The H.K. Porter Locomotive Co. built thousands of little industrial steam locomotives like this from the 1870's to the 1950's. The locos were used in mining and light industrial operations all over the world. This model has been skillfully assembled and custom painted. It runs very smoothly, although is of such diminutive proportions its ability to haul other rail equipment will depend on finding equally tiny rolling stock! There does not appear to be any provision for a coupler on the front pilot, however, the more crucial rear pilot is set up to accept a Micro-trains operating coupler. There are no indications of any wear on the model. The original box is included. This is a very tough to find model, and even tougher to find one so well assembled and finished. Submit your bids!
